Which is the best publishing site? Is it Wikinut, ExpertsColumn or Triond

black belt_wikinut badges

Wikinut, Triond and ExpertsColumn are all admirable publishing sites. It is really hard to distinguish the differences about them. And maybe most online writers would ask - How the three publishing sites differ from one another? What method should be used to spot their differences?

Here I applied some keywords and tags. They are representing the same 23 articles or columns that I have published at Triond, Wikinut and ExpertsColumn. And through them I aptly had determined how effectively those publishing sites supported their writers in the manner of attracting views and promoting their writers’ stuff across the net like:

As I said earlier, those keywords and tags are representing the same 23 articles published on those sites and they helped me determined the differences between the three publishing sites in term of views respectively. As of this writing from March 1, 2012 my Triond pages garnered a total of 525 views so far. My Wikinut pages received a total of 15,103 views. While my ExpertsColumn pages received a total of 1,402 views. Of course, I used the same method on sharing those 23 articles published at Triond, Wikinut and ExpertsColumn across the net. But Triond has the least recorded views among them.

Earlier this month I received payment from Triond for February amounting to 66 dollars cents. At Wikinut I also received payment from December 8 to March 7, 2012 (3 mos) amounting to 3.02 Sterling pounds. And from ExpertsColumn I received payment from June 1, 2011 to March 18, 2012 on March 20, 2012 amounting to 5 dollars.

Summing up the total views from those sites from the date I began writing with them – my ExpertsColumn pages received a total of 2,101 views from June 1, 2011 to March 20, 2012. My Triond pages received a total of 30,931 views so far from August 17, 2010 to March 20, 2012. While my Wikinut pages received a total of 230,785 views from July 28, 2010 to March 20, 2012.

Despite diverse feedbacks we read about those sites, still, they are all standing robustly as strong bridges for our ideas and our inspiring thoughts to pass by for the thousands or for the million net users across the Internet. They are serving as virtual worlds where to share of our alluring dreams and our exciting emotions. And sometimes the focal points of friendships among writers.

If you want to write and earn you may join to the following publishing sites. They are the best publishing sites for your online writing like:

PhilHealth Letter Regarding Scrap PhilHealth Circular No. 022

letter_PhilHealth

The said letter is intended to correct my impression that said circular no. 022 was created by two people. However, instead of rewriting the paragraph found at PhilHealth Circular No. 022 is an Added Burden to The Millions of OFWs Worldwide, I just decided that corrections from PhilHealth should be made available on public.

The paragraph said, "Obviously, the PhilHealth Circular No. 022 was created by two people: Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon and MA. TERESA A. QUIAGIT and approved by them without the approval of other Board Members and other Executive Officers of PhilHealth. It was created on December 15, 2011. The said circular is not only addressed to the 11 million+ OFWs around the world but also to all the Filipinos in Philippines. To read the said Circular No. 022 visit the link PhilHealth Circular No. 022."

I found the letter with good intentions and this article will serve as my acceptance and approval. Above is a scanned copy of the said letter I received on January 30, 2012 at around 12:41PM Saudi Time dated January 27, 2012.

As of this writing there are already 660 Filipinos have joined the petition and yet still very far to 1-M target-ted signatures – so if you are a Filipino living in Philippines and abroad you are hereby invited to join the said petition – go to this link No to PhilHealth Premium Increase Scrap Circular No. 022. And if possible share this call to your family, relatives, friends and friends of friends around the world!

Avoiding Taboos

It is said that taboo challenges one's free speech and individual rights to express a subject or issue in need to be addressed. Taboo contents are hot subjects that can attract people to read and invite search engine crawlers and spiders to hang on. But some people considered them not healthy subjects or topics to discuss. Should you still insist to write them?

Dictionary and Encyclopedia define Taboo as any of the negative traditions, objects, or behaviors generally regarded as harmful to social welfare or something that is forbidden by a society as unacceptable or improper. It is a strong social prohibition relating to any area of human activity or social custom that is sacred and forbidden based on moral judgment and religious beliefs. Breaking the taboo is usually considered ill-favored or offensive by society.

I think we can still write those taboo topics provided that our intentions are to clear the issues and to protect the victims. Because if nobody will stand to discuss issues, crimes, violence and etc., I can see that the world will be full of mess and madness!

Dreams Help Mould Your Future

(if)

Image via Wikipedia

Dreams give you strength to face the natural world of your choice to reach success in life. The dreams I am talking here are about the expression and visualizing of solid thoughts, emotions, and ideas that signal about what you want and what you need for your physical life. Dreams need physical works and efforts.

Thirty-Seven years ago, I visualized becoming an accountant and a writer. But the problem was - how to make them happen. I knew my parents could not afford to send me to school to finish those courses I had wished. However, I did not give up dreaming. In 1976, I was sixteen year old at that time and had just finished my elementary; I decided to leave my parents for my dreams and my love for them.

Contrary to the will of my parents, I still left them and lived the way I can. Living away from them was not easy and productive. I had slept under pine trees, robustly standing around our town plaza. I had used scrap cardboards and old newspapers as my gasket and beddings. Sometimes I slept on the height of the tower of our town church, inside waiting shades and fish market along with other deserted children. I had become immune from the mosquitoes bites, salty smells and the freezing darkness. There were nights I was weeping, remembering my family but the homesickness for them did not change my decision.

I made friendship with those children who were also at my age. I mingled and associated with them like one family with the same fate. Thus, it became easier for me to be with them. The fish market was our source of living. Lifting of goods of market vendors in exchange of some money to be divided equally among us were exciting and memorable experience. We really enjoyed for doing it.

A short story must have a plot that is strong enough to sustain interest. There must be incidents - a chain of events. There must be a crisis to be resolved. There must be a drama and actions to follow!

The question successful writers are always asked is: where do you get the ideas for your stories? It is the one thing a fiction writer wants to know. The truth is - we all have our own ways of sparking ideas, of kick-starting our creative motors and what works for one writer may not generate even a blink of interest for another.

A Remnant Of Its Past Glory--Old Diriyah--Riyadh, KSA

Old Dir'aiyah 2 by zbigphotography
Old Dir'aiyah 2, a photo by zbigphotography on Flickr.
The Old Diriyah, according to the history of Saudi Arabia, was a kingdom. The family of Saud once ruled the kingdom in the early 1800s. The remains of those ruined palaces were built of mud bricks and stones, supported with some blunt timber. The Old Diriyah can be reached by a two-wheel drive and is only few km away from the city center of Riyadh.

Children and youths should be taught how to cultivate values, virtues and how to admire them. All these should be integrated with sex education - to help them appreciate the beauty of sex as a gift of God to mankind in the context of marriage not from what they discovered from pornographic magazines and video shows.

Job for Private Detective

shadow detective services by Tom (hmm a rosa tint)
There are text messages roaming around which are purely jokes. Sometimes they make us laugh and provoke. But they are just jokes that we need not to be taken seriously, like this one. A man suspected his wife of seeing another man so he hired a private detective to watch his wife and report any activities that might develop.

I believe that the best teachers ever produced in the world to teach the offsping are the parents either they are biological parents or an adoptive parent. The parents should be the first to draw the actions to teach the children about life and their sexuality and it will start at home.

I was with my peer at the Philippine Embassy here in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia to apply for a new passport. At the main gate, the security guard confronted us for identification. My peer produced his driver’s license and the guard acknowledged it. Me handed my company ID in which my name was written in Arabic but the guard ignored it.
